*Novice family teamt event - This is for Novice competitors who might need a bit of help from a parent, brother or sister (16yrs+), uncle, aunt, grandparent etc. Details can be found HERE
The event will run under sanction from 'Triathlon England' and will be in line with race rules and codes of practice. A race referee, first aid and marshal will be present to ensure the races run smoothly. Entries will close 10am Saturday 19th May, there will be NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY.

Cycle (red) and Run (yellow) routes, transition area (blue).
REGISTRATION - Opens from 9am, Collect goodie bag, race number, coloured wrist band, get body marked and show your BTF licence to get the £1 refund.
RACE BRIEFING - 10.15am next to the finish, then down to outside the pool
SWIM STARTING - 11.00am All races in waves, max 2 to a lane, marshals help count the swimming lengths.
TRANSITION -Opens for cycles at 9am. Poolside transition for the footwear, run out to the sports field and the cycle trransition area to put on the helmet and collect the cycle.
CYCLE SECTION - A lapping vourse around the sports field. Correct number of laps must be competed, Competitor/ parents must count, we will carry out or own check.
RUN SECTION - This is a lapping course, collect a band at the start of end lap to help you count.
PRIZES & MEDALS - These will be presented at the end of the event as soon as the last child has finished. Time for a photo opertunity.
RESULTS - Up on the website by 6pm on race day.
COMMENTS - Please let us know how the event was for you, let us have your comments so we can improve for next year.
WEATHER / CONDITIONS
The race organiser will take decisions prior to the start, on the day, to ensure the safety of competitors. This might mean a shortened course or change of event, if ground is wet or unsuitable for cycling, to an Aquathlon (Swim/Run).
